SEO FAQ's
What is SEO?
The easiest way to explain SEO (Search Engine
Optimization) is: The mechanics involved in making your
website visible to the major Search Engines, such
as Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc..
Building a website without SEO is like starting a business and
listing your number only in the white pages of the phone book.
Unless a potential customers knows your name, they won't be
able to find you.
Now, if you were to list your business in the yellow pages,
you would increase the odds, and narrow the search in order for
potential customers to find you. The Internet Search Engines
do not list your business alphabetically like the
yellow pages. Search Engine Optimization allows you to Out-Rank
your competitor regardless of your company name. However, just
like the yellow pages, the Search Engines become competitive once
you have been listed in a category.
A category in a Search Engine is equivalent to what we call a
keyword. For example: If you type the keyword "Lawyer"
into the Google search bar, you will probably get 96 million
results + or -.
Potential customers are more likely to narrow the search to
something more localized like "Lawyers in mytown usa"
which will probably bring the results down significantly to
say 150,000. And then others will probably narrow it further with
something like "divorce lawyers in mytown usa".
Simply including keywords in your website is not enough. You
probably have most, if not all of your keywords already included.
Where your website ranks in the Search Engines depends on
many factors.
The art of a SEO (Search Engine Optimizer) is to get your website
to rank on the first page of the Search Engines based on the
keywords that a potential customer might search when looking
for your type of business.
Now that you know what SEO is, think of a search term that your
potential customer might type into Google to find your type
of business. Search the term and other variations of it and see
if you are on the first page of Google. You will probably see
your competitors on the first page. If you are not on the first
page with your competitors, ask yourself these questions:
How did my competitor get their website listed on the first page
of Google?
How much business am I losing to my competitors?
How do I get my website listed on the first page of Google?

Can I do my own Search Engine Optimization?
Yes. Search Engine Optimization can be done by
anyone with website knowledge. Due to the amount of time required
to maintain and increase rankings, some business owners prefer to outsource
the project so they can handle the sales that the rankings promote.
If
you do your own SEO work, it's a good idea to stay current on the techniques
involved. Some of the techniques used in SEO projects can get your website
banned from the Search Engines.
We offer training classes that provide
you with up-to-date information on the good, bad, and
marginal techniques used by today's SEOs to help keep your
company's reputation safe.
We can also customize your training sessions
based on your skill level.
Can your SEO Company guarantee #1 position in
Google?
No. No one can make that guarantee. It is possible to
achieve, but can not be guaranteed. Rank Positions change
minute-by-minute, day-by-day. If you do make it to the #1 position, remember,
there is always a competitor trying to rank #1 just like you. Your SEO campaign
should always take into account that your competitor probably has the
same ambitions and goals as you do when it comes to ranking #1.
How long does it take to see optimization results?
It all depends on your situation. There are way too many variables
to say without knowing your particular needs. However, some techniques can show
results in as little as a few days, but overall, expect at least 3 months.
After a complete analysis of your particular needs, we can provide you
with some realistic expectations, and some money back guarantee options if
the guarantees we provide you are not met.
How much do SEO services cost?
Again, without knowing your
particular needs, it's difficult to say. However, we have service packages to
meet just about any budget and we offer payment options.
